The JRR team loaded up and headed West for the weekend and found themselves in New Castle, Wyoming racing with the Black Hills Mini Sprint Tour vs the Miniakota Micro Sprints. Friday night Jody got the weekend started off right winning The Dash and the A feature locking him into the Challenge race for Saturday nights Main Event. Moving onto saturday Jody, by virtue of his Dash win on Friday, was in charge of rolling the dice for the invert in the Challenge race and rolled a 5 starting him in the back of the invert. Jody raced his way to a 2nd place finish in the race, but the was the overall all 2-day point champion with his total finishes. The long trek home brought Jody back to Husets Speedway in Brandon, SD for Sunday nights Sprint show. Jody earned the outside front row starting spot and was able to run away leading every lap on his way to victory lane!
