The Team Crown Racing schedule has been updated. At this point it basically hits the highlights of the schedule for the summer. Other dates will be added once the team has settled on a final schedule. “As I’ve said all along, we’re going to be more hit and miss with our schedule this year. We’re planning on running right around 20 or so shows, so it won’t be as aggressive a schedule as we’ve done in years past. We will not run for points anywhere with our car, however that doesn’t mean that Jody won’t run for points in a series. He has the option to use his stuff when we’re not racing as well, so it works out pretty good for him. I’m just getting older and family commitments are coming to the forefront, as well as the economy hitting everyone harder and harder these days. It’s just time to start to slow down a little for me. I still love it, and look forward to getting out there and racing again this year. Hopefully we’ll have some good showings at some of the bigger races than we’ve had in the past. We just seem to have a monkey on our back at some of those shows, but we’ll work as hard as we can to get our car competitive and do our best to run well.” Says owner Jason Johnson.
