ROCK RAPIDS, Iowa - The 2018 season will be considered a big success for our race team, our partners, and hopefully our fans! What started in January at the 2018 Chili Bowl Nationals culminated in a year long journey that took us from Oklahoma to Wisconsin to the tri-state area we call home. Our 2018 season will come to a close in December, when we travel to Du Quoin, Illinois for USAC's Junior Knepper 55 Midget race.
This summer, we followed the MSTS 360's around the Upper Midwest. We finished 3rd in the points standings to the tune of 23 A feature starts, 17 top ten's, 7 top fives, and 1 win. We were also able to compete in our 410 sprint car at the Jackson Nationals in June. All of our success could not be possible without the help of our great partners. Most notably we would like to thank Frontier Bank, Todd's Beer Cave, Automotive Services Inc., and Rosy's Raceland for their continued support and commitment to our race team. Without them, we would not have had the pleasure to take impromptu trips like the one to Oklahoma City in March or to Cedar Lake, Wisconsin in July.
Looking forward to 2019, we plan to take 3 Midgets to Tulsa, Oklahoma for the 33rd Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals Presented by General Tire. We also intend to go to multiple other Midget shows in the spring, summer and fall of 2019. As we have the last several years, we will be committed to the 2019 MSTS 360 schedule. The MSTS 360's will likely take us all over the region of South Dakota, Iowa, Minnesota, and Nebraska. Though it's been a while, the team is also looking at a couple big Micro Sprint shows that are taking place in the Central US.
For almost 15 years, JRR has been committed to providing a quality product on and off the track for our partners and fans. This would not be possible without all of you.
